Hello World! Happy Monday! As you know, I’ve been hard at work in my voice studio. In between taking care of the little one, and teaching, I try to squeeze in some work on little projects. I finished one last night, but had to wait until the morning to take pictures. The studio gets soft morning light which is quite helpful when a non-professional is trying to take photos.
As you can tell, she had some damage and was a little on the dirty side. Spent some time sanding her a bit, and fixing some spindles. Not everything could be fixed. I did discover it is a real birdcage with a drop door for the cleaning out of the essential bird duties. Here she is with a couple of coats of Annie Sloan Chalk Paint in Old White. I decided not to wax her. I rather like her matte look.
