A Sneak Peek

Hello World!  And, before you even ask, no I'm not finished with the little intricate chest.  However, I thought I would give you a little look at her.

The scroll detail appears on three sides of the chest.  The solid side is her backside.

See the little line of "balls" in the upper left hand corner of the picture?  That was her original state.

A close-up of the scroll detail.  To be honest I'm glad there are only three sides of this.  It has taken me forever.

Her pretty little legs.  I've got a little bit of filling to do, as well as touch up paint and then I've decided to add some dark wax to give her more depth.  The white I may leave matte or I may give her a little shine.  Not sure yet.

So, what do you think of the little intricate chest?  She's definitely pretty, but I've had to be really patient with her.

One more thing almost done for the entryway!  Yay!  Make it Pretty Monday of course is still live.  Click here if you want to take a look around at all the great link-ups.  On the plan for next week of course Make it Pretty Monday on Monday, the complete chest reveal either Wednesday or Friday, more china hutch work and a great giveaway on Thursday.  Have a fun filled weekend and remember to be kind to one another.  Fear Not!

Toodles,
Kathryn
