Hello World! Welcome Friends! Spring is upon us and it is definitely showing out here in Texas. Since I’m in the process of deciding where I want my decor to go since we just moved, I haven’t “really” decorated for Spring. But, I did get a new canvas recently from Canvas Factory that I wanted to show you. So I pulled out a lot of my blue and white pieces and paired it with my beautiful canvas.
My blue and white collection comes from various places. Once I get the house situated with my existing decor, I’ll have a better idea of what I need to get to fill in any holes I might have in my decor.
I set the canvas on top of my Ballard Designs chest that is located in the breakfast room for now.
The chest will be moved to a new spot once the new furniture comes in. Our current breakfast table from Ballard Designs is too large for the spot. It also makes it a tight squeeze when opening the door to the back patio. We have a round table being made as well as six chairs and a new chest.
Don’t you love the colors in the print? I’m not sure which room it will end up in. I haven’t hung any pictures as of yet, but I think that Bessie the cow might look lovely residing over the breakfast area once the new furniture comes in.
The blue and white that is sitting on top of the plant stand is from Walgreen’s! No lie! Freak find for sure.
The table will go in the study and Mr. Dedicated has claimed that it shall be his new desk! Remember the other breakfast table? He has been using that as his desk. Once the Ballard’s table becomes his desk, the other table will go upstairs to the game room and start its life of being a game table. I definitely don’t want to get rid of it since it is an antique.
The large Ginger jars are from Hobby Lobby.
The stacked bowls are from Home Goods, and the cute rooster is from my Mother-in-Law.
This piece my Mom gave me years ago. It looks perfect next to the gorgeous print.
That’s it for Spring in my house for now. I’m hosting Easter, so hopefully the new table, chairs and chest will be here before then.
I hope you enjoyed Spring in my house. A huge thank you to Katie at Let’s Add Sprinkles for organizing our tour. Off you go to the next lovely stop for Spring galore!
